Champions For Change

Champions for Change serves as the overarching theme for ALL of the 2010-2011 nutrition campaigns.
Check out the Champion Mom for the Healthy Proteins campaign!
In cooperation with our public and private partners, we are charged with improving the nutritional status of Arizonans who are eligible to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits through the use of effective social marketing and community education. Champions for Change is a valuable tool branding the Network's message along with the three campaigns slated for 2010-2011. The Champions for Change logo will be featured consistently and in tandem with all of the following campaigns.
| 2009-2011 | Champions for Change (overarching theme for campaigns listed below) |

Thanks for being a Champion for Change!
Caroline is a Champion Mom from the Hopi Tribe, now living in Central Arizona. She is a distance runner so she knows that protein is important to her and her growing kids. Caroline stretches her food budget with dried beans. They take longer to cook but it's worth the savings.
Caroline's tip to other Arizona moms is: Plan your meals out for a week. It's easier to eat balanced meals when you make sure to have healthy proteins, whole grains and fruits and vegetables. .
